Nurse Kris received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph College of Nursing in Illinois. Her background is in mental health, the operating room and school nursing. After spending eight years at Graden Elementary, she moved to middle school where she is starting her third year at Lakeview. 

 

 

Welcome to the Lakeview Health Room!  

For families new to Park Hill, we want to introduce you to what we offer through our health services program. If you are a returning Park Hill family, please review this important information regarding our health room services and procedures: Lakeview Health Services

When a student will need to take medication at school, a parent is required to bring the medication to the health room and sign the authorization prior to it being administered. Additional information is in the following link:  Lakeview Medication Authorization 

Middle school students may NOT possess prescription medication, except emergency medications used for asthma and severe allergic reactions. The following paperwork is required to be signed by both the physician and parent then submitted to the health room prior to student carrying such emergency medication as inhaler’s and Epi Pens.

Middle school students can carry one dose of over-the counter medication if carried in the original container.   

Student immunization must be up to date for your student to attend school in the state of Missouri.  The 2024-25 Missouri School Immunization Requirements are available online on the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Website

Parents can purchase additional insurance protection for accidents that may occur during school classes and while students are away from school, at home, during weekends and vacation periods, including the summer months.
