Intramural signups will begin Saturday, October 27th at noon.

Sign-ups close on Thursday, November 1st at 10:00 p.m.

You MUST sign up in EventBrite to reserve your spot!!

You must follow the link to sign up for the activity that you would like to participate in. You will immediately know if you are in the activity or if you have been put on the wait list. You do NOT need to print out your ticket; it acts as a place holder for the session. Please download and fill out the permission form OR get a form from the shelf outside of Ms. Martensen’s room (152), from the Intramural board in the commons or in the office. 


Homework Helper 
Students who need additional aid and time to work on assignments, study for tests, and work on organizational skills; this is the place to be!   You can come in on Tuesday and Thursday or just one day a week.  Mrs. Nordwald  in  Room 102.

Band Help
High School Helpers, Award Lines, Concert Music Help.   Band Room


Board Games

Love to play Chess? Monopoly? Jenga? Come and join other game lovers. You can bring your favorite game or play one of ours. You can also bring a snack to enjoy as you play a game.  Room TBD 

Oreo Overload
Do you love all things Oreo?  Every week we will create a new treat using Oreos.  Join Ms. Ruggles for the Ultimate Oreo Experience.  Meet in Room 147 (Cooking Room) Limit 30.

Social Issues Organization

Social Issues is a student run intramural which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues impacting the group including, but not limited to identity, expression, cultural issues, understanding others,  and working to end negative perceptions and fears of differences.  See Mrs. V for more information regarding this Organization.

Holiday Origami
Learn the ancient art of paper folding with a holiday theme.  Limit 10.  Mrs. DeGood Room 109b  


Strike or Spare?  Go Bowling at Main Event!!  You will need to bring $4 for your shoe and lane rental and any extra money if you want delicious snacks.  Mrs Harrington/Rose.  Meet in Room 108. 

Community Service

Do you find joy in helping others? Join us in a field trip to Wexford Assisted Living Center to do a holiday activity with the elderly residents.  We will make dog toys for animals in shelters as well. Other activities will be decided as group.  (Limit of 15) Meet Mrs. Lackey in Room 157

Holiday Baking
Let's make some yummy holiday treats together.  We will create a different treat every week and you'll be able to take home whatever yo manage not to eat!  Bring your friends and joing Ms. Ruggles for some delicious fun.    (Limit of 30)  Ms. Ruggles in Room 147 (Cooking Room)

Sounds of the Season
We will be playing holiday favorites in solo and small ensemble settings.  Mr. Aguilar on the stage.

Session 2 Permission Form (PDF)

The permission form must be filled out and returned to Ms. Martensen by 11/5 or the student will not be allowed to participate until the form is submitted. If there is a wait-list, the students with submitted forms will be allowed to move into the session and your child will lose their spot.


To participate in activities you must have: 

  1. A signed permission slip each session.
  2. Buses were assigned to students and cards were given out during registration and the first few days of school. If you are not sure of your child's assigned bus and stop location, that information will be available through the sponsor of the activity. The form will be available in the office, distributed through the teams, or see Ms. Martensen. It is important to listen to announcements to stay informed so you won't miss the fun!
  3. Some classes may require a minimal fee. Arrangements to pay the fee must be made before the first class. Each session is held on Tuesday and/or Thursday from 2:40 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. Bus transportation home is provided if prearranged. A bus schedule is also posted in the Commons.
We reserve the right to cancel activities due to lack of student interest. Hopefully that won't happen. However, if a class/activity is canceled, parents will be notified by phone and students will be encouraged to join another activity.


1. Intramural sign-ups typically happen 1-2 weeks before the session start date.
2. Intramurals start after school and run until 4:00
*Car riders are picked up at the front of the school starting at 4:00
*Students riding the IM bus will typically load the bus at approximately 4:00.
3. Sign-ups are on a first-come-first serve basis
*Watch the announcements to see when IM sign-ups are happening or you    
          can always ask me.
*Forms are available outside of Room 152, on the board in the commons, or in the office. *Sign up for RemindMe to receive text message reminders about intramural 
          information at OR text @lmsims to 81010.
4. Students MUST check the board in the commons (near the restrooms) to see if they have been placed in an Intramural session.
*We do not send notification of student placement
5. Students need to check the board in the commons for IM bus.
*Your IM bus is not the same as the bus that brings students to school in the
6. Suggestions for session offerings are always welcome.
