The mission of the Park Hill School Social Workers is to collaborate with students and families to provide interventions and access to support services in a respectful and dignified manner to empower students in order to achieve success in life. Jill came to Park Hill in 2013. Prior to that, Jill worked in the child abuse and neglect field as a child abuse investigator, forensic interviewer and director of a Child Advocacy Center in Kansas City. 

Jill has a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Jill served as a Field Instructor for 8 years and supervised BSW students and MSW students from Park University, University of Kansas, UMKC and UCM. During that time, Jill was nominated for the MARGO AWARDS for Outstanding Student Achievement in Field Education. In 2014, Jill was honored by the Platte County Prosecuting Attorney at the Platte County Annual Victim’s Rights breakfast and received the Ninth Annual Sara Andrasek Memorial Award for her work with victims of child abuse. Jill has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2008.
